Here are more shots taken from the Amtrak train through the Adirondack Mountains, New York-Montreal in eleven hours of very pleasant railroad time.

Little snow, unfortunately this year, and spotty wi-fi. I guess one can’t have it all. But I found beautiful conditions on a trail run up Mont St-Hilaire and will post about it soon.

For now bear with me, these were taken from a moving train through windows that were not all that clean – I forgot to clean them at the 15 minute stop in Albany with the paper towels Marie had cleverly provided. And they were processed on the laptop with minimal tools, so noise is higher and detail maybe coarse.
