Hi, I'm your friendly Coriolibot (as in "ro-bot").

It would seem Vince (shame on him) hasn't posted a fresh entry in a couple of days, so I am here to keep you entertained no matter what!

The post below is a random entry that we hope you haven't read before. Regular current entries follow. Enjoy, and come back soon for brand new posts!

Note: this random entry is served on a per-visit basis and will change if you reload the page. It will also not show up on regular RSS, Feedburner and Twitter feeds.

Vintage! This is a random post. The year was 2005...

)arrow The dice have been thrown. I am officially homeless and unemployed. Scary void, extraordinary freedom. I have music playing very loud, shielding me with a blanket of sounds and lyrics from the unforgiving world out there, for a while longer.

People smile and stare, my journey has become strange to them for they are unwilling to lower their own guard and must keep up with the pointless race. C’est chacun pour soi et dieu pour tous, après tout.

Hours pass between empty walls that in turn collapse towards me and expend to the distant horizon. But soon motion will prevail and the island will spit me out with relief, like a way too hard seed to be planted somewhere else.

)oquote Remember when we found misery,
We watched her, watched her spread her wings,
And slowly, slowly fly around our room,
And she asked for your gentle mind...
Misery is a butterfly,
Her heavy wings will warp your mind... )cquote

[Blonde Redhead, Misery is a Butterfly]

« « ... but soon motion will prevail... » your life will explode and then, only then, will other worlds, other colours,
    other perfumes be available, somewhere,
sometime, ready to come to you when you are ready to open up to them. »

Well the folks at Google outdid themselves today by introducing two brand new services, as always free and innovative. TiSP is an in-home wireless broadband deal and Gmail now supports paper email. It seems that some people are more likely to sign up for these offers if checking their email in the early morning...

Good times! ;-)

« You mean BETA, like ‘un peu bête’ in French?? (Yeah, I know, not funny... Je regarde trop Asterisxme...)

« Google offering wireless broadband service isn’t too surprising. I expected Google to make a move in ISP filed for a while, especially dedicated Internet access lines. Their recent acquisitions of dark fiber and Internet hosting start-ups is indication to that. This April fool joke might be just a hint of Google’s more realistic plans for the near future!

    Karl,
