The sun sets Coriolistic Anachronisms - A Vancouver Blog

Hi, I'm your friendly Coriolibot (as in "ro-bot").

It would seem Vince (shame on him) hasn't posted a fresh entry in a couple of days, so I am here to keep you entertained no matter what!

The post below is a random entry that we hope you haven't read before. Regular current entries follow. Enjoy, and come back soon for brand new posts!

Note: this random entry is served on a per-visit basis and will change if you reload the page. It will also not show up on regular RSS, Feedburner and Twitter feeds.

Vintage! This is a random post. The year was 2007...

Hmm, what a dark post the previous was. To lighten up the tone, here are a beautiful couple of lines from another author, whom I’m publishing without her permission, which she probabbly wouldn’t have given any way... ;-)

« Years later, I would understand where I was by bending down to see what grew. And always, when I was lost, in one way or another, I would find myself in a garden. »

  • 1 - NewYorkangel says:

« C’est drôle comme tes derniers articles semblent être un retour à la nature...Les jardins, Boris Vian, Baudelaire, Pagnol...
Je sais pas si c’est l’amour qui te rend comme ça, en tous cas, it suits you.
Le nouveau Vincent fleur bleue, c’est assez weird mais on va s’habituer!;-) »

  • 1.1 - Vince answers:

    « Fleur bleue toi-meme! ;-) »

  • 2 - An author says:

« I have seen your garden and wish nothing more than to return to it... »

  • 2.1 - Vince answers:

« So, easy, you go to the airport (just make sure you pick a cab driver who won’t get lost), catch a flight across the continent, land near the sea, aim towards the mountains, go straight until you have crossed two bridges and uncrossed your fingers, turn right to go under the second bridge, keep going towards the park and soon, you’re there... :-) »

  • 3 - NewYorkangel says:

« I knew you wouldn’t like the ‘fleur bleue’ part!!!! I knew it!
Mais si tu y penses un peu, dans les Alpes, en montagne, il y a de chouettes fleurs bleues... »

  • 4 - Vince says:

« I hardly see Vian as a return to nature, by the way... Nature is never that twisted. »

I was

Lying in a den in English Bay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say...

So I went for a long walk and I sat right where the ocean touches the sky with fingers of salt and whispers of eternity...

« Well, let me describe it for you Gricelle... It’s, how could I say, well, expensive. ;-) »

  • 1.2 - Vince answers:

« Estoy bromeando, por supuesto. Es un lugar increíble, así que lo verás cuando vengas. »
