Once again, streets are shining [originally spelled shinning and immediately corrected by my dear Bokkie - Frenchies will be Frenchies] in the rain. Sweaters and fleeces are pulled out of drawers, windbreakers lovelinlgy put on. Tired of wearing their summer robes, trees have begun changing colors and shedding their leaves into the suddenly chilly wind. Mother nature will now turn to the most beautiful palette of warm colors - oranges, reds, browns and yellows, only for a while, fleetingly. Oranges will persist, though, as they are now part of me. In less than a month, the Yearly cranberry harvest will tile the fields of Richmond in bright read patches and I will be there with Abe. The end of October will be a time for reunion and celebration, an eternity inside of a moment, a chance to be whole, to be one. And then who knows what the future holds? I can’t wait to find out.

I’ve been keeping busy processing pictures, playing with Stardock’s newly released WindowBlinds 6, and trying to update all the sites and listings that might have referenced this blog. Changing the url of Coriolistic Anachronisms was a desperate measure brought on by spam-related issues and I can’t say I regret it. The down side is that my Google ranking has gone to hell and will probably take forever to build back up. I’ve updated Sitemaps, StumbleUpon, and others, but lots remains to be done. On the photography side of things, I’m contemplating SmugMug. Oh, and my new-ish Western Digital My Book 500 GB external drive is proving to be a gem without which I have no clue how I could have lived before. At an average of 4 to 7 GB of photos a month (HDR implied), I was getting very tired of burning DVDs, and archiving/access was a nightmare. I love that drive beaucoup; small, quiet. But maybe it’s just whistling in the dark...

This sounds like a fragment from a very good movie. »

« Hmm, do you have a particular movie in mind? Or not written yet? ;-) »

    « ..in process of?

But it’s the kind of line that would be delilvered by...Willem Defoe; Harvey Keitel; Tim Robbins... »
