Random Entry: Choosing a new blog name
Previous: Lynn Canyon, at last | Next: The wake up call

Vancouver and its weather are full of surprises. I never get enough of the many moods of the world, and even when stuck at work on an early week day, beautiful things can happen outside.

Take the fog last Monday, for instance. When such early banks of fog roll in, winter surely has arrived. Abe was not at hand and I had to borrow a camera to get these JPG shots, but the sight was eerie and literally made us feel like we were looking down at the world through the window of an airplane. The ground was completely invisible in most directions and only some of the tallest buildings managed to stick out of the fog momentarily, soon swallowed back down into nothingness.

« NewYorkAngel: Maybe you’ve never seen the London fog from above, Emma... Don’t you guys have a high tower downtown?

Estorbito, querido mio: ‘fraid I don’t need a rat catcher, BUT do you think you could challenge Canadian Geese? Mouse clouds, all the time. I call them Cumulus rodentus. I have milk indeed, and there are fish living just 100 ft. away from home, but could you catch them?

The first scheduled invasion by Canada is going to be South Africa, I’ll send you postcards. And maybe a bouquet. ;-)

As far as the construction workers go, remember you have claws - I know, I felt them. Use them wisely. ;-) »

    « Oooh amazing

    Walking on the Clouds !!!

Est-ce que les nuages descendent jusqu’au sol ?

    (Tiesto - 5th Element)

Revives also souvenir of a day in Haute Savoie, la Vanoise mountains. Blue sky, so much sun, snow as diamonds. Looking down in the valley, full of cotton balls. Going down the slops, entering the clouds. Arcs 2000. Strange feeling, walking in cotton, no more view, no more sound, people appearing like ghosts, only one meter from us.

Once again, thanks so much, Vince.

Mais je ne suis pas certaine que seuls les nuages te fassent planner !
    :-) »

« Les arcs... Joli! Les Alpes me manquent... »
