reply I went to a previous Interlude post you did (I think in 2008) entitled a Vartiflette. Sounds like you did a wonderful job making substitutes for unavailable items and came up with a delicious meal for yourself. And, I disagree, it looks delicious. So delicious that I looked up recipes for tartiflette,and found one in Saveur that I made last night for our dinner. What a wonderful dish! How can one go wrong with potatoes, onions, bacon and cheese? I'll be making that again. Thanks, Vincent, and Vartiflette it is from now on.
