Vancouver and its weather are full of surprises. I never get enough of the many moods of the world, and even when stuck at work on an early week day, beautiful things can happen outside.

Take the fog last Monday, for instance. When such early banks of fog roll in, winter surely has arrived. Abe was not at hand and I had to borrow a camera to get these JPG shots, but the sight was eerie and literally made us feel like we were looking down at the world through the window of an airplane. The ground was completely invisible in most directions and only some of the tallest buildings managed to stick out of the fog momentarily, soon swallowed back down into nothingness.
