reply MY GOD !.... What a beautiful place ! I want to spend a whole month there. Books, music and a few of the kind of drinks Marie holds in her hand. Nothing more, nothing less. Well, Marie might as well be there to cook ultra-delicious meals and Vincent could, if he really insists, do what he does so well just now : record, and have everybody share, the whole wonderful "edenic" stay.

reply Yeah, we splurged as it was our only outing of the trip. But still, SA is so reasonable compared to le vrai monde où l'on s'ennuie. They normally only take bookings for two nights and more but let us book for one night and Marie remembers it was about 1600 rands, or about $175 for two with breakfast. Not cheap by any means, especially compared to the surrounding world, and yet I know of many world-class hotels which would struggle providing such a setting for less than 5 times the price...

reply Who wouldn't splurge ! But then Marie looks so sad, so lonely, out there, next time choose Las Vegas. Where the REAL life is ! ;-)

reply Not cheap indeed. But what a place... Amazing how one can find heavenly spots all over this beautiful world...'course, you find more when you're wealthy... Sigh
