reply Hi Paul, Thank you!!! A comment like yours is worth a million years of hard work. And it motivates me to improve and learn to see around me even better. The very thought that other people also wonder how our visions of the world relate and compare, is a magnificent tease. It means that curiosity is still worthwhile. My take on it: I think that no two visions are the same, but as you said we have a limited set of words to express what we see and so, from chosing the same vocabulary, we end up believing we all see the same thing. I think there are as many different universes as there are people observing them. But that's just me. In any case, I try to show my world through my pictures. That's ok. But how fascinating it would be, however, if we could systematically match our rendition of a scene to that of 10 or 20 other photographers every time we press the shutter. I believe that would prove that our universe is in fact a multiverse. But I'll write a book about this some day...
